Born and raised in Bangladesh, Dr. Hoq began his journey in medicine by earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) degree from Dhaka Medical College, University of Dhaka, in 1996. His passion for public health and epidemiology led him to pursue a Master of Public Health (Epidemiology) from the School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine at Tulane University in 2002.
