Under his leadership, the Hospitalist program experienced exponential growth in size and productivity, leading to substantial budget surpluses and improved patient satisfaction.
Additionally, Dr. Hoq's leadership shone bright during the COVID-19 pandemic. As the Interim Vice President Medical Director of Performance, Safety, Quality & Regulatory Affairs at Bridgeport Hospital, he played a pivotal role in the rapid response to the pandemic. His high-quality crisis management skills ensured the institution's swift recovery during the post-pandemic phase—and he was honored by Bridgeport Township for his public service.
